ashland home women consoling friendHistory

Ashland has the longest tenure in Orange County of any facility providing support and loving care, at no charge to the women they serve.  The doors opened on Ashland Dr. in 1998 as a result of the efforts of a group of Women with a vision.

Vision

Be the model for all alcoholic women to stay sober and lead happy productive lives; where they are reunited with their families, involved in their communities and giving back what was given to them.

Philosophy

Ashland Home embraces the concept that alcoholism is a disease that requires a 12-step program of recovery to ensure that every woman has the opportunity to enjoy an improved level of function in all areas of her life.
